This is a 1971 Karmann Ghia Cabrio restored by ReVOLKS.
The Body-off restoration was completed late spring 2001.

This Ghia is a lovely southern car, picked up in Texas with no rust damage.
A stock restoration was performed except for Empi 8's, a 1776cc dual port and Air Conditioning allowances.

Color choice: Hunter green with tan interior.

Some pics from the engine build are shown just below the body pics after media blasting.

The FUN part! - Putting the lovely southern belle back together.

You can see the body in various stages while going back together.
The chassis sealed and bolted up. The dash taking shape and the lights being installed.

The 1776cc engine started and did it's first one hour run-in with no problems.
The interior is all finished although not completely installed to make way for the cabrio roof installation. The following pictures show the cabrio roof being installed.

That last few pics of of "Hans" after completion during initial testing and finally on the way to the Eureka Springs VW Weekend.
